C
Completing the Analysis and Design Phases – Given a technical problem and a set of project missions, strategies, goals and objectives, identify and outline the system analysis and design deliverables. Show how these deliverables describe "what to do", "how to do it" and how they support the subsequent project deliverables. System prototyping, rapid application development (RAD) and joint requirement development (JRD) strategies will be explored.
D
Legacy System and e-Commerce Strategies – Given a variety of technical requirements and environments, develop a system architecture that integrates the legacy systems and the new technology. The specific issues concerning e-commerce, security, high-volume transaction processing, distributed databases and technology compatibility are discussed.
E
System Development and Implementation – Given a system design, model the deliverables and outline methodologies, appropriate to create and install a major system. Several application development tools, operating systems, network topologies, database systems and methodologies are explored.
F
Project Planning and Tracking – Given a project in progress, select and apply the appropriate project planning and tracking tools to monitor and report progress to internal and external client groups.
G
Addressing Scope Changes and Risk – Given a change in resources, scope, time or specifications for a project in progress; develop and present a revised technical solution and its supporting project plan.
